I had seen a postcard of this beach before I ever came to it, and I thought, no, it couldn’t be that beautiful.Goes to show… One day while on the island of Koh Lipe, a tiny speck of a thing in the Andaman sea, I made my way over to the other side of the island, the less touristy side, away from Pattaya beach where the high prowed Thai boats littered the tide, to Sunrise beach. I have never seen a beach more exquisite. It fanned a perfect curve of crystal clear water, a couple of colourful boats moored picturesquely and bobbing on the tide. The softest, whitest sand.
